A slanted “A” is the star of the show on the sidewall, accompanied by striking branding on the tongue.
In 2014, in Sweden, two former online sales specialists, Max Svärdh and Albin Johansson, founded the Axel Arigato brand.
Passionate about travel, they decided to give it mixed influences, from the Japanese word arigato which means “thank you” to the Caribbean hummingbird-bee which adorns their sweatshirts.
Passionate about interior design, and not wanting to choose between Japanese minimalism and Scandinavian minimalism, they combine the two in each of their creations. Imagined in Sweden, designed in France, and manufactured in Portugal, they are proud to be European.
