On April 15, 1993, CSP became the first French club to win the ultimate European crown, all team sports combined : the Champions League. Richard Dacoury and his teammates, under the leadership of Bozidar Maljkovic, won the European Champions Clubs' Cup in Athens against Benetton Treviso.

Boulazac Basket Dordogne
In 1992, US Périgourdine moved from Périgueux to Boulazac to take over the Le Palio hall.
During the 2011-2012 season, after seven years spent in Pro B, Boulazac obtained its ticket for the first time to Pro A by finishing 2nd behind Limoges CSP.
