Water-repellent
Water-repellent treatment on the outer fabric that makes water droplets slide off, preventing them from soaking into the material. A water-repellent treated textile is not designed to withstand immersion or prolonged heavy rain.
Breathable
We calculate the amount of water (in vapor form) that the fabric allows to pass through in 24 hours. The higher the rating, the better the breathability. Starting from 5,000g / m2 / 24h, the garment is considered breathable.
Windproof
Use of a technical fabric ("softshell") that insulates against wind. Ideal when it is cool or when the wind chill makes us feel cold.
