In the center of the room, a blank canvas — and a crocodile waiting for a brushstroke. We’ve known the reptile embroidered over the heart since 1933. That night, we saw it born anew: freehand, spray can and marker in hand, on a large orange format that repeated a single word to the point of intoxication — croco, croco, croco. All around, the spring collection played the same tune, between tennis green and lemon yellow. Live painting A wide-open jaw, at the back of the room The artist started with the outline: a jaw drawn with a continuous white line on the vermilion background, without hesitation. Then the green arrived — the exact shade of the logo — to bring the crocodile to life. By the end of the evening, the canvas was signed and the "Croco / Lacoste" motif covered every square centimeter of the background. The finished canvas: the green crocodile emerges from a background saturated with "Croco". The evening in 56s Your browser cannot play this video. The collection Lemon squeeze and tennis heritage On the racks, yellow dominated: tonal crocodile t-shirts, polos with intricately worked monogram piqué, and openwork knits. In the window, a tennis tank top and Roland-Garros balls served as a reminder of where this whole story comes from — the court, before the street. The complete look in the window: knitwear, shirt, raw denim, and bucket hat. Green is not a color at Lacoste. It's a signature. Party journal Room side Cocktails, great looks, and good vibes At the bar, the shaker never stopped: frosty margaritas and plenty of limes. In the crowd, everyone had paid attention to their outfit — sharp blazers, leather clutches, tweed, and pearls. Proof that a sports wardrobe knows how to dress up for the evening.
